On
the farm we grow organically apples, pears, cherries, plums and peaches.
The young orchard, with 170 plants selected from old varieties of the
Casentino Valley, contributes to the project of restoration and
conservation of genetic resources of the valley. In spring the various
and colored flowers of the fruit trees look like an extraordinary
impressionist painting.
We
also have a vegetable garden cultivated without the use of pesticides
where we produce zucchini, tomatoes, aubergines, peppers, onions, salad,
potatoes…, in short most of what we serve our guests.
By
the farm there is also a small flock of sheep for breeding,
two white
ponies (Mon Cheri and Nuvola), a spotted horse (Luna) and
three lovely
cats (Alis, Tex and Zeno).
